Phi Gamma Nu.
Michigan’s Premier Business Fraternity.
President’s Welcome
Welcome to PGN at the University of Michigan!
On behalf of the brotherhood, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Phi Gamma Nu at the University of Michigan. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization, our values, and our people.
PGN is one of the largest co-ed professional business fraternities in the United States, with a rich history dating back to our founding in 1924 at Northwestern University. We are built on four pillars: Professionalism, Brotherhood, DEI, and Philanthropy. Our members are driven, collaborative, and committed to building both strong careers and a strong community. We hold firmly to the belief that curiosity, work ethic, and perspective matter more than any single academic path. We welcome students of all majors who are interested in exploring business, leadership, and personal development.
Our new member process is designed to develop brothers both professionally and personally. Through career-focused programming, mentorship, and hands-on initiatives, members gain exposure to a wide range of industries and build the skills needed to pursue internships and full-time roles at leading firms. At the same time, our philanthropic and internal initiatives emphasize service, inclusion, and community.
Joining Phi Gamma Nu has been one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made at Michigan. From professional development and alumni connections to retreats, socials, and late nights with the brotherhood, PGN has given me experiences and friendships that I’ll carry well beyond college. I invite you to learn more about our organization by attending our recruitment events. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at dcesp@umich.edu. We look forward to connecting with you.
Best,
Daniel Espinoza
